Alerce Group Takes a Decisive Step in Its Growth Strategy with the Acquisition of Wemob

Alerce | Logistics | Press Releases

Alerce Group takes a decisive step in its growth strategy with the acquisition of Wemob, a reference company in telematics and fleet management solutions in the Iberian Peninsula. This transaction reinforces its position as a leading software provider for the logistics sector, expanding its capacity to offer total control over transport operations.

An acquisition with strategic impact

Wemob, founded in 2014 by Miguel Guerrero and his team, has earned the trust of more than 500 customers and 15,000 vehicles, thanks to a suite of SaaS solutions that enable:

  • Real-time geolocation

  • On-board vehicle diagnostics

  • Driver behaviour analysis

  • Cold chain control

  • Regulatory and environmental compliance

With a track record of sustained growth, Wemob has established itself as a key player in a market increasingly driven by ESG requirements and the digitalisation of fleet management.

More value for Alerce's customers

This acquisition represents the first transaction of this type for Alerce, following its alliance with Oakley Capital in 2023. Thanks to it, Alerce not only broadens its technology offering, but also strengthens its capacity to:

  • Improve operational and environmental efficiency

  • Offer greater visibility and control to its customers

  • Develop cross-selling opportunities with new integrated solutions

Pablo Pardo, CEO of Alerce, underlines:

"This strategic investment will allow us to offer greater value to our customers and reinforce our position in the Spanish market. We share with WeMob the priority on service quality and customer orientation".

A natural synergy with high potential

The transaction has been designed to maintain the continuity and talent of Wemob, whose management team will continue to lead the company. For Miguel Guerrero, CEO of Wemob:

"Joining Alerce and having the backing of Oakley multiplies our development opportunities. We made this decision thinking about the future of our customers, suppliers and employees".

Growth with a pan-European vision

This move is part of Alerce's roadmap to become the benchmark in technology solutions for transport and logistics in Europe. With more than 35 years of experience and millions of shipments managed per month, the company continues to advance steadily towards a complete and connected offering.
